Become a Student

In order to become a student at Victory Reins there are a number of forms that need to be filled out and returned to us prior to the start of your sessions. These can be found by clicking on the link below. The most important of these is the medical release that must be signed by a doctor and the consent forms.

A session is 6 weeks long and runs approximately 45 minutes per lesson. The cost is $150.00 for semi –private and $210.00 for private lessons.

We customize our sessions based on the needs and capabilities of each student. This is accomplished by providing focused activities to enable each individual to reach their highest potential.

A session may include:
• Stretching and flexing exercises like reaching for different parts of the horse
• Maneuvering around barrels or weaving cones
• Riding bareback
• Participating in games on horseback such as hot potato, red light/ green light, beanbag toss , musical stalls etc.
• Grooming, brushing and general care
• Feeding the horses hay, grain treats and watering
• Riding in a pony cart
• Leading horses through and obstacle course

Our goal is to motivate our riders to become as independent as possible while having fun and creating personal relationships with out staff as well as our horses. Our horses are the best therapists teaching everyone involved unconditional love!
